Health authorities have warned they’re seeing a rise in patients falling seriously ill after taking black market peptides in a bid to lose weight.
At least six cases have been flagged in Victoria since January as demand for the experimental drug Retatrutide surges online.
One woman, who went into liver failure after just two doses of an unregulated peptide, is warning others to steer clear.
