Almost two million Brits are on them and 95% are not getting them through the NHS – but are weight loss jabs really a miracle cure? Federica says that the drugs are brilliant for people with type 2 diabetes, obesity, and heart disease, but what alarms her is how easy it is to get hold of them and how many people don’t know how to take them properly, ending up dangerously unwell – a ‘potential public health emergency’. Her new book The Appetite Reset is billed as the first scientific guide to taking these weight loss medications safely.
