As Russia and Ukraine resumed peace talks via video conference, a Ukrainian airstrike was reported from Russia’s Belgorod. Video footage of the purported attack showed what looked like several missiles being fired from low altitude, followed by an explosion. This was the first reported airstrike by Ukraine on Russian soil. Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said he could not confirm or deny reports of Ukrainian involvement in the strike as he did not have military informatio. Meanwhile, emergency relief and evacuation convoys for the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol remained in doubt following reports of Russian interference.
