No More Injections? The New Weight Loss Pill Explained | This Morning
Around 1.9 million UK adults are using weight loss injectable drugs like Wegovy or Mounjaro. But as of today, some patients will be able to swap the needle for a daily tablet as the hotly anticipated Wegovy weight loss pill becomes available through private providers. As the first tablet for weight loss to be approved by the UK’s medicines regulator the MHRA, Dr Nighat joins us in the studio to discuss what the launch means for patients, how the pill works and who it may be suitable for.Â
