How Your Body Says Goodbye To Fat: The Science Of Weight Loss !
Ever wondered how fat leaves your body? When you eat, food is broken down in your stomach and absorbed in your intestines, turning into energy. If you consume more energy than you use, excess is stored as triglycerides in fat cells, leading to weight gain. So, how do you lose fat? It’s mainly burned in two ways: breathing and mild hunger. During exercise, your body needs energy and breaks down fat using oxygen, converting it into carbon dioxide, water, and waste. Most of the fat is exhaled as carbon dioxide. Also, when you’re slightly hungry, like after skipping a meal, your body uses blood sugar first, then taps into stored fat for energy. So, through exercise or light fasting, you’re literally breathing out and burning off fat.
