Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Russia’s invasion an act of cowardice, saying Russia started the war and blamed Ukraine. Further, he said that when people do not admit their mistakes “they turn into monsters”. Zelenskyy, in an address to the nation, said, “Russia started a full scale war against us and we are allegedly to blame.”
The Kyiv Independent in a tweet, quoted Zelenskyy, “All of this came from cowardice. When people lack the courage to admit their mistakes, apologize, adapt to reality, learn, they turn into monsters.”Zelensky: ‘Russia started a full scale-war against us and we are allegedly to blame.’
